Hi, many of you won't remember me, never knew me, or plain don't care, but for those of you who might here's a thing. The boat which ate my life is about to reach a milestone. It's taken three years and cost well over 60 grand but finally, after all the graft I seem to have a brand new vintage harbour tug. I've called a meeting with the men who drive the 200ton crane which'll lift my big iron baby so now I actually have a launch date set. On Friday 12th Sept my vessel will be lifted into the hoist where it'll remain for the weekend and on the morning of Mon 15th September she'll receive her baptism. Whereupon the damn thing had better float else there'll be trouble. A couple of weeks after there shall be a party on board in Southampton to celebrate and messenger friends shall most likely be invited, I'll let you know a bit sooner the time. If you want to see what happens when a man decides he's done too much messengering and too many drugs for too many years and fancies a change of life nows your chance. Maybe it should serve as a warning. There's a blog at http://thevoyageofwendyann2.blogspot.com if you're at all curious to know what I'm rattling on about, otherwise just ignore the preceding text- I had a burning desire to go public with my big news and somehow chose your forum as a place to begin.

Stay rubbery in the right places and that.

    Seb.

Well done you (just slightly... sorry clearly) mad mad man. Seriously though to do what you did and finish it took so much guts and strength (both mental and physical). Can we bring the nipper along to see it soon then?
