On Fri September 12th which means I've been the road for 20 years. Should I; a) Do some-sort of ally-cat thing and make a drunken public spectacle of myself in front of you good folks. or b) Hide in dark corner muttering " I'm old and passed it" repeatedly to myself in a barely audible murmur?
I'd go for the alleycat, I thought about doing one for my fortieth but with few exengers and even fewer messengers I started seeing a trail of bad bike wrecks all over downtown and Spenard. As funny as that might be I went for something more socially responsible and got drunk at Darwin's
Gertie; out of sympathy for you I may make this my first ever Alley but only as long as you ensure there won't be lots of young people there drinking and listening to that dreadful noise they call 'music'.
Gertie, I won't be able to attend but I do want to wish you a happy birthday. BTW If anyone for some reason finds themselves in Anchorage look me up and I'll buy you a "red hot" at Darwin's Kirk
Thanks to everyone for making last night a good 'un. results of the race are; 30 people signed up to race, of whom the following made it back; Johnny H 1st male Dazzler Josh Robin Ollie Smith Ben Ferguson Jeffrey Bongo Krzys Wee Scott Sarah Jane 1st female Ryan Chandra Vojtech Dawid Mike Barbeque Sara Skull
At about that point things seemed to dissolve into a haze and I called the race over. Thanks again to everyone.
If you where part of the "all back to mine" posse and realise that you are now short a baseball cap and a pair of gloves, then they aren't lost, they're here, give us a bell and we'll get 'em back to you.
