just back from Warsaw,what a great event....was a pleasure to meet again with the worldwide messenger community..thanx to the organisers to have us and making it all happen....Fish put on a great main race..well done to all racers who had to ride under torrential rain but kept a smile throughout....next year's CMWC will be in Chicago and 2013 will be held in Lausanne,Switzerland with a pre-event in Paris....London will be hosting the pre-event to next year's ECMC in Edinburgh...

Got back last night and the weekend flew by.We stayed in a campsite that we shared with the Warsaw Hari Krishnas.Don't know who was more confused by it all;us or them.(was that the right place to put a semi-colon?)
We were eaten alive by the Warsaw mosquito army on the first and second night but the next day we had biblical rain til the evening which helped keep the buggers away for a while.As with all of these events so much happens that you could be forgiven for forgetting a lot of it.My favorite moments included the car killer "competition"where a rider had to ride past a car(the car was provided by the Warsaw crew)and kick the f*ck out of the wing mirror, which was detachable, the idea being that whoever kicks or whacks it the farthest wins.We ended up smashing the motor to bits then tried to tip into the nearby river.

The main reason for going to an ECMC or CMWC is to hang out with all the other couriers from around the world and get shitfaced.That is it for me.This year the London crew were posted at checkpoint 16 during the main race on the sunday,this was the day it absolutely f*cking tanked it down.We got to provide beer to all the racers and have a little moronic fun with them.I gotta say though,massive respect to every rider that raced in that rain for five hours.After a while it became cold and no one could be blamed for bailing out.The place was wrecked after it which didn't stop the partying that night.

Next year London is hosting the pre-event to ECMC Edinburgh.
Let gets wrecked again and hope it pisses down.
