Female Only Alleycat. Saturday 5th of July 6ish at the Foundry.
A points race in a treasure cat style...but details and lots of surprises to follow.
Men welcome but only at checkpoints...and in drag (no you can't race in drag)
Women come as your female heroine, come as a man...come as you like but make an effort to dress up (points for costume).
Women of all cycling abilities welcome, this is fun race where its not just about how fast you go, its how much balls you have.
£5 entry all profits going to the LCEF

Dave as the best dressed transgender half man exenger there is, you absolutley have to come, but I coudn't possibly let you race.

Also pikey has got some great prizes organised

some one hinted at the pub last night, that some of the female couriers out there feel snubbed by some of the other girls...this race is exactly about being strong, fun women together. If I've ever seemed to be snubbing anyone its cause I was stressed with late packages and an inability to find Times house or something..not because I didn't want to hang out and get to know all the lovely female couriers out there. I would feel honoured with as many strong fun female couriers/cyclist to come on saturday as possible.

will i get to sleep in the bed of a girl whose house smells strongly of smoke with a faint hint of cheap perfume? strangely i quite enjoy that. i think its just because im used to ending up in that sort of bedroom so i dont know anything different.

Hey Iron eye be great to have you on a check point (best dress included I hope) you don't need to get their early, about 6 - 6.30
and I also have a living room that smells of dog but has comfy sofas if you need a place to crash.

Wayne has been doing a brilliant job on sorting prizes, so good I'm now annoyed I'm not racing

And it isn't necessarily the quickest woman thats gonna win here, remember its points and their will be some really silly tasks

I really need people to bring camera's...as theirs ridiculous stuff happening at pretty much each checkpoint, it would be good to have a camera at each.. anyone doing checkpoints, if you have camera's bring them down cheers, infact I still need plenty of men in lovely dresses. some photo's here http://www.flickr.com/photos/messenger1redrum/sets/72157606001092373/ hopefully a video should be ready soon. This was a wicked race, 21 lovely ladies racing all in faboulus costumes, though the guys costumes were just fu*king scary. well done to the organisers for doing the first all female alleycat(to my knowledge), it said it was a treasure hunt, but trust me this was a proper race. The check points were wicked, silly tasks i.e. bra burning, waxing etc... thanks chandra and wayne, and to everyone that took part. these ladies are FAST!

Cheers for that Chandra! Had an amazing time. You have broken my London alleycat virginity. Ali x

    dear roger,

i seem to remember making a drunken pact with you at nikki's wedding which states that once i am finally a Dr. and have changed my name legally, that we (and someone else i think too..?) would get arrested together.

i hereby formally request that when that day comes, you look like this:

which, i have to say, is, frankly, marvellous.

For those of you who were not at the race and may not know who the lady on the right is, she is Period Woman, the Menstrual Mistress. One of the most amazing costume ideas ever, although I think her Aunt Flo is a better dresser.

Sorry for a delayed Race report intermittent internet connections, but hey here goes

So first off a massive thank you. Thank you to all the lovely men, ahem I mean ladies, at the checkpoints who made such an awesome effort in dressing up and making each off their checkpoints fun.
Also thanks to everyone that helped me figure this out and some of the great ideas I got off people. Thanks to all the girls that dressed up and raced you all looked amazing...it was so so hard to pick a winner.
Thanks to Redrum for filming and putting together that video, that was so cool.
And thanks to Wayne for helping me organise this and sort out all the prizes...oooh yeah and thanks to all the sponsers.
Ok so I think thats everyone thanked.

    So In first place was
    Joint winners Steff and Nhatt
In joint second place was Sarah Skull and Roxy
and Joint third was Mary and Julia
Also worth mentioning was that I was pretty wasted when I worked out all the points and I think that Ali and Stoyanka had the same points or near enough to Mary and Julia so they deserve a mention too. Basically everyone did so great I can't believe everyone went so totally for it with all the tasks set you guys really rocked.

Little Jon won best dressed man, he really worked those patent white stilleto boots far better than any woman could have and Anna won best dressed Woman with her fetish leopard print all in one outfit. Infact all the costumes were amazing, but another metion should be made to the Menstrual Mistress Mary and Agata who came as Eve.

And Finally Magda won the write a paragraph/poem in the style of Jane Austin task (I might even dig those peoms out and type a few choice selections up here at some point)

    For those that weren't at the race the checkpoints were;

Ion Square E2 where we had bra burning in celebration of those seventies feminists.

Bedford Square WC1 where we had makeovers done on each of the girls that came through.

Broadwick street W1 Public Mens toilets where we had the 'pin the penis' on the porn star game. (many thanks Ryan and Janky for setting that one up and Ryan for cheerfully buying the gay porn, it might also be worth mentioning that when I discovered it was Gay pride and gave the guys the option of a quieter public toilets they happily opted to hang about in drag in the middle of gay pride with a giant penis game)

South Street W1 where the girls got revenge by waxing Buffallo Bill, Overdrive and Zander - thankyou so much for offering us your hairy bits

Wyndham Place W1 where we had down as many shots of Rum as you can handle and then Ride Clarences Chopper bike ''the beast"

Henrietta St WC2 the use your imagination to write a paragraph or poem in the style of a Jane Austin Novel

The girls could also pick up bonus points by bringing me items of Mens clothing at any point along the route, and I ended up with loads of horrible smelly socks and pants...so erm yeah well done.

    think that covered it

Nice one Chandra. I had a brilliant time at the race, also superb to see so many LCEF t-shirts being worn and an excellent turn out all round from all quarters. The cute girls on bikes quota seems to rising nicely :-)

Also many thanks for the chunky contribution from the proceeds of the race that went to the LCEF. Ace!
